BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

A kind reminder during Breast Cancer Awareness Month - adult women of all ages are encouraged to perform breast self-exams at least once a month. Approx. 40% of diagnosed breast cancers are detected by women who detected changes during a self-examination. Check for lumps or knots, visual changes, redness, warmth, swelling or pain, itching, scales, sores or rashes, and discharges. Don’t hesitate to call your doctor if you’ve noticed breast changes that are new and worrisome.
